GOOD NEWS!
The revolt against the TSA is underway. We reported last week that the airline body scanners are under pressure from all sides due to privacy and health concerns. The TSA thought that they could intimidate the public with "enhanced patdowns" that are literally pornographic in their description. This Federal agency is the epitome of the security state gone wild. However, the more desperate the attempts, the more people's innate humanity rises to the surface and says, "NO MORE!" The public has spoken: we are not guilty until proven innocent; we are not slaves to be abused; and we understand that to sacrifice liberty for security means the complete loss of freedom. Regardless, in an emergency meeting DHS stated that they do not intend to roll back the machines or the TSA's abusive patdowns, despite the concerns from the airline and tourism industries. Such a blatant disregard for the people most affected by government policy is the hallmark of tyranny. A National Opt-Out Day has been scheduled for November 24th. We all want to be able to travel freely, and it is a shame to refuse ourselves this right, but we must demonstrate our power of numbers and peacefully resist such blatant oppression.
ACTION ITEM
Stop Biometrics -- This is the endgame of the security-surveillance state. This is where the bureaucratic, totalitarian state implements its permanence by automating and computerizing its high-tech control grid. We cannot allow this to advance any further. The surveillance state is already out of hand, as we are recorded via every means of communication we employ. But the current structure is an expensive one to operate, employing vast amounts of technology and human oversight in order to make it functional. In its current form -- combined with military action -- we can expect the surveillance empire to spend itself out of existence, same as every empire in history. But what will happen when computers fully replace their human counterparts? The cost of doing business will fall exponentially in relation to the exponential increase of computing power. It will be a slavery nearly impossible to reverse. There are already several groups who appear to be taking action against biometrics. Please contact us with your ideas, or activist groups who are coordinating an effort to effectively halt the advance.
OUR MISSION AND HOW YOU CAN BECOME ACTIVE
We want to help contribute to the mass awakening that is taking place. The mainstream media is part of a system that aims to keep people ignorant and unquestioning. It is essential that information continues to flow from the alternative media, so that opposing viewpoints can be heard. The global movement toward Internet censorship is troubling. We are optimistic, though, because history shows that all attempts to oppress free humanity are doomed to failure. However, we can no longer remain passive; the period of cold, creeping tyranny that legislates its way into power is over. When oppression reaches this "hot" stage, we need activists. The next period will be defined by how well we are able to overcome our conditioning and resist what we know in our hearts is the wrong course. You can become active through education, spreading the word, but, most importantly, practice what you preach. Tyranny is no match for freedom.
