Summer Lunch in the Garden
A festival fundraiser at Crisp Galleries

Discover the extraordinary music of the Röhn family, indulge in a simple al fresco lunch and help raise funds for the 2016 Canberra International Music Festival on Saturday 5 December at Crisp Galleries.

In an exclusive Australian performance, five members of the Röhn family, one of Germany’s greatest musical dynasties, combine their individual virtuosity to present a selection of music by Mozart, Kriesler, Debussy and Dvorak. Roland Peelman, Festival Artistic Director, described these 5 eminent musicians from this formidable German family as “a bit like the Bachs of their day.”

Your afternoon includes a guided walk through the beautiful gardens of the Crisp Galleries, the opportunity to view Peter Crisp's renowned glass art, a simple al fresco lunch under the leafy shade of the gallery’s avenue of trees and an intimate performance from this remarkable family.

Spaces are limited, so book your tickets online or call 02 6230 5880. For more information, please visit www.cimf.org.au

We're getting a 'brand' new look

New additions to the festival team

We are delighted to welcome Peppi Wilson to the team as the Festival’s General Manager. Peppi joins the festival team having recently returned to Canberra after a number of years overseas, living in the UK, briefly, and prior to that, Vietnam. She has a policy development and government relations background, with most of the past decade spent working in the telecommunication sector. Peppi looks forward to working with our great team on what is already shaping up to be an adventurous and inspiring 2016 festival.

Joining the team as the Festival’s new Marketing and Communications Consultant is Miranda Borman. Miranda is a professional Marketing Consultant who specialises in working in the arts industry and developed a deep appreciation of the Canberra International Music Festival through her work as a publicist in 2015. Miranda is looking forward to supporting the team to present a fantastic 2016 Festival.
