On October 15, 2015, Sinfonia Rotterdam will be performing a reprise of 'Rotterdam Concerto II', in De Doelen, Rotterdam. The soloist will be Keiko Shichijo, who brings a special grace to the expressive and virtuosic qualities of the instrument.

The performance is part of the concert '3x Rotterdam Concerto'. Next to the iPad concerto, 2 other 'Rotterdam Concerti' will be featured, by Vanessa Lann and Hans Koolmees, with soloists Erik Bosgraaf (recorder), Matthijs Koene (panflute) and Bram van Sambeek (bassoon).

"I am excited for this performance of the iPad Concerto because lately I've been reworking all the sound patches, together with Bas Bouma. One nice aspect to this fast moving technology: as the iPad and the apps get better at sounds, interfaces and other possibilities, they can be incorporated into the piece.

...just as long as the hardware, software and ios stay in balance.  8-]"
