Judaism of the Week: Sukkot!
Sukkot: literally, "booths," is a festival both commemorating our time in the desert as well as a harvest festival. This is especially neat for us because it is the time of our local harvests.
Mitzvot and traditions of sukkot:
There's even one of the more heartwarming Jewish films that revolves around this holiday! Check out Ushpizin: you can see it on YouTube, though we suggest you find a rental source (it's on Netflix). Or, better yet, attend next weekend's Seudat! (See below)
