Servicing Class 3 weapons just got a little easier for everyone. We've serviced C3 firearms for years, but required C3 owners to schedule an appointment and stay on premises while repairs were completed. However, policies have changed. During a recent conversation with an ATF representative, we learned the owner need not be present for repairs as long as we have a copy of the tax stamp and any government-issued paperwork related to the firearm. As long as this requirement is met, C3 owners can drop off the weapon for repairs just like any other firearm.
