Kara Santokie
As a professor, Kara has taught social policy, governance, and international relations courses. She has also worked as a gender training specialist in Bangladesh, a policy consultant to the City of Toronto and a research analyst and project consultant to various organizations in an international context. Currently, she is the Director of Toronto Women's City Alliance, where she works towards the inclusion of women’s voices in municipal politics. Her work has led her to be featured in the Toronto Star, NOW Magazine, CTV News, CP24 and the CBC, among others.Read more...
 


Boutayna Regragui

Boutayna earned a Master degree in International Labour Law and Employment Relations from Montesquieu university in France. She has experience as research fellow and lecturer at Moulay Ismail University in Morocco. Currently, she is a Ph.D candidate and has focused her research on The Impact of Economic Globalization on The Labour Law ( Les Conséquences de la Mondialisation Economique sur le Droit De Grève). Read more...



Shabnum Budhwani
Shabnum Budhwani is a Project Manager & Consultant with over 15 years’ experience in labour market integration of Internationally Educated Professionals. Over the years she has initiated and managed partnerships with multiple stakeholders. In May 2014, Shabnum was recognized by the Province of Ontario and awarded the “Leading Women Building Communities” award by the Premier.  Read more...


Shadya Yasin

Shadya is the Network Coordinator for York Youth Coalition and Program Manager for Transformative Community Educators Network (TCEN). Shadya studied African Studies, International Development and Community Arts at York University. She is also a certified teacher and currently pursuing a Master of Education degree from University of Toronto. Shadya is an artist, former radio host and works with local and international community development initiatives with an anti-racist and oppression framework.  Read more...

 


Shelina Ali

Shelina is a lawyer at Iler Campbell LLP, and works with non-profit and co-operative organizations on a variety of corporate and governance issues these organizations face. Prior to attending law school, she completed undergraduate and graduate degrees in international development and public policy, with a focus on gender equality programming and policy. Read more...
