Why I Run

I started to run again because I wanted to have more energy and increase my stamina. Unfortunately at this early stage of my life, I've already experienced what people might experience in their late 40s; I'm out of breath all the time, sluggish and useless after a night out. So I started running. After a week, I realized how it's a good use of my time. Because if I weren't running I'd be lying in bed either sulking, watching TV shows or worse lying in bed wondering what I can do with my time. I run because it helps me think more and better. I run because it takes my mind off things, things I will be fixated on if I wasn't keeping myself busy. I run because I feel free and relaxed. The first few days was horrible, tormenting, but after a week, it was liberating. I run because it makes me feel alone yet not lonely, and it's one of the best feelings in the world.
