Premiere of New Choral Composition
Join me on Saturday, November 7 at 7:30 p.m. in New York City for the premiere of my new choral work "The Best Thing in the World" (words by Elizabeth Barrett Browning). The piece was commissioned by Khorikos for their Modern Masters Concert Series.

Premiere of Alto Saxophone and Piano Composition
I am thrilled to be back as a guest composer at the the Festival of New American Music in Sacramento, CA.  "With Eyes Open" was commissioned by Keith Bohm and the festival, and will receive its premiere on Saturday, November 14 at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be live streamed. ROCK CHALK! Most of you have probably already heard that I have joined the composition faculty at the University of Kansas School of Music. I am grateful and honored to be a part of this dedicated and passionate community. It's been a wonderful and inspiring semester. Check out the music of my esteemed composer colleagues Kip Haaheim and Forrest Pierce!
