The 125th Celebration of CCCov is THIS weekend! You are invited to come and hear from former pastors and others about how God has moved in and through our church over the years! We are excited to celebrate together!

- *Please bring a favorite side dish, salad, or dessert to share for meal; meat will be provided.

 CCCov T-shirts have been made to commemorate our church's 125th Anniversary & Celebration (Oct. 10-11) and designed to be worn beyond this year as a way of identifying a group going out from our church. Purchase yours at Starting Point on Sunday! Cost is $10 per shirt. Available sizes include S, M, L, XL, & XXL. YOUTH SIZES AVAILABLE - YM & YL!

October is Pastor Appreciation Month. Consider taking a few minutes to write our pastors and staff a brief note to let them know how much you appreciate them.
Ark Preschool Fall Family Night & Soup Supper
Fri., Oct. 30* :: 5-7:00p :: Multi-purpose Room
The Ark Preschool will host a soup supper on Friday, October 30 from 5-7:00p. Relishes, drinks and desserts will also be served. (Plus kid-friendly grilled cheese and PB&J sandwiches.) This is “come and go” so you can bring the whole family to eat after the downtown festivities, or before the football game, or anytime just for fun! There will be activities for young children. Everyone is invited! Bring friends and family! (There will be a basket for donations to help cover costs.)
*NOTE: This is a change of date from the all-church calendar printed in August.

“Thriving in the Heart” // Tues., Oct. 13
The next MomsCONNECT meeting is Tues., Oct. 13 from 9-11a at the First Presbyterian Church. Come for food, connection time with other moms, special craft and childcare (NB-PreK). FREE! ALL moms invited!
Community Christmas Sharing Program: If you are in need of assistance this Christmas season or know someone who is, applications are available at Starting Point or the church office. Deadline is November 30.

 Children's Ministry
Children's Christmas Program Practice
Wed., Oct. 14 // 6:30-7:15p // Fellowship Hall
Children’s Christmas Program is fast approaching! Practices will be on Wednesday nights for Grades K-5th from 6:30-7:15p, followed by Kid's Club and Children's Activities (see "Kid's Club" below.)
- Pre-school age children will practice on Sunday mornings during SS.
- Volunteers are needed for Children’s Christmas Program: Help comes in many ways: snacks, costumes, set design, and much more. If you are interested in helping, contact Julie Chestnut or Sue Tiffany.
Kid's Club - Experiencing God
Wed., Oct. 14 // 7:15-8p // Fellowship Hall
- Any 2nd-5th Grader is invited to come for a lively, fun environment focusing on friendships and living out the Christian life with biblical principles! A large group time with music, skits, fun games and Bible lessons is followed by small group activities, with caring and consistent leaders.
Sunday School // 9:00a // PreK-5th
- Our children’s Sunday School provides a Christ-centered learning environment in which children can hear the gospel of Jesus and grow in their relationship with God, their teacher and friends.
