The 5 Love Languages®

Words Of Affirmation

Is it getting chilly where you live as the seasons change? Leave a note in your spouse or child's jacket or coat pocket expressing appreciation, encouragement, affection, or maybe why you are thankful for him or her.

Acts Of Service

If your spouse doesn't enjoy ironing, offer to iron his or her clothes whenever you are able. It's a relatively easy thing to do and speaks volumes in terms of Acts of Service.

Receiving Gifts

Did you know that the gift of "self" can sometimes speak louder than a tangible gift? Being there for someone who has experienced a tragedy can be extremely meaningful. Your time and presence is a thoughtful gift that will not be quickly forgotten.

Quality Time

A walk can be a powerful way to speak Quality Time to those you love. Whether your spouse, child, parent, or friend, going for a walk together is a relaxing way to decompress, converse, and connect. Make plans to walk together today!

Physical Touch

Whether you are sitting next to someone you love at a restaurant, church, concert, or on the couch, reach over and spell out a secret message on his or her arm, hand, or leg with your finger. In doing so, you'll actually be speaking two love languages—Physical Touch and Words of Affirmation!

LIFE IN COMMUNITY

Do you feel like you can worship God better in nature than you can at a church? Are you fed up with the judgmental hypocrites you find there? On this podcast, Dustin Willis says something supernatural happens when a believer commits to a community of imperfect people. The benefits will astound you.
