October

October is National Plan a Cruise Month. I have rounded up the latest news on various cruise lines for you. Ready to set sail? Give me a call!

***Don't forget to enter the
CruiseSmile contest. Different cruise lines are giving away one cruise per day for all of October!

Disney Cruises

Disney Cruises has just unveiled their early 2017 itineraries and ports. Most of their cruises include a stop at the popular Disney private island Castaway Cay. Disney cruises are in high demand and with only 4 ships, they do sell out. Book as early as possible for the best pricing and availability.

Fathom

I am so excited about the new brand
Fathom! This is a cruise for people who want to make a difference- cruise to Cuba or Dominican Republic and volunteer! Great for families, mission or church groups, really anyone who wants to help others. I am thinking about organizing a group to do this next year- let me know if interested!

Carnival

As one of the largest cruise companies, Carnival is always making waves. They recently announced that Carnival Fantasy will begin sailing out of Mobile, AL again in late 2016. In Spring 2016, Carnival's newest and most innovative ship Vista, will debut in Europe. And for those that love the convenience of New Orleans, Elation is being replaced with Triumph.

River Cruise

River cruising is an up close and intimate way to explore ports. There are numerous rivers and itineraries to choose from including the Danube, the Rhine and Seine rivers. You can take wine cruises, visit Christmas markets, and see tulips in bloom. Interested? Check out a couple of my favorites- Amawaterways & Viking.

Off the Beaten Path

When people think of cruising, the Caribbean usually comes to mind first, followed by Alaska or a European cruise. Have you ever thought about taking a cruise to an area a little more exotic? Did you know that you can cruise the Hawaiian Islands, Tahiti, around Australia, the Amazon and even up the Mekong River. If you are a fan of cruises already, maybe it is time to try something a little different.
