Weather update -- student services and what's open on campus Oct. 7-9
The campus will reopen for faculty and staff on Wednesday, Oct. 7— classes remain cancelled through Friday, Oct. 9. As always, the safety of our community is our primary concern, and road conditions continue to be hazardous. Employees are using extreme caution and taking necessary steps to ensure their safety and that of their families. In addition, we remain under a boil water advisory. As such, essential and other services will be offered but may continue to be limited.
These services are available to all students who chose to remain in Columbia — those who live both on and off campus:
- Bottled water distribution
- Food service at Honeycomb Café, Bates Café, Grand Market Place and others
- Thomson Student Health Center
- Counseling Center in Byrnes
- Strom Thurmond Wellness & Fitness Center
- Thomas Cooper Library
- Student Success Center
- Activities and entertainment in the Russell House
- Portable toilets at residence halls, Russell House and Greek Village
