PROJECT LALU LOOK-A-LADY-UKULELE RUGBY WORLD CUP - CULTURAL EVENTS
Look-a-Lady-Ukulele (LALU!) is a brand new, music and visual arts based project led by Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust in partnership with Peepul Enterprise. The project is designed to boost the health and wellbeing of women living across Leicester and Leicestershire.
Our group will be performing at the Rugby World Cup Festival and our ladies will be performing for the first time with the songs they have been writing with Mellow Baku. Please come along a support our group and be part of the Rugby World Cup family events!
You can also find out all you need to know about getting involved in rugby locally from the people who know at Leicestershire Rugby Union and the RFU, and there will be the opportunity to have a go. It’s not all about rugby: look out for the full programme but expect some great local entertainment and activity sessions including arts and crafts, and a giant computer game you can play on the big screen!

HEALTHY DIWALI FAMILY DAY

LOOK-A-LADY-UKULELE
Learn to play the ukulele and develop your music skills. Try your hand at everything from ceramics to textiles.
No experience necessary, instruments and materials provided. Sessions are open to all women and free!
Session are led by a host of professional artist and musicians and will culminate in the production of an illustrated songbook, touring art show and a range of optional performances.
