Thank you for your interest and support of the Solano Midnight Sun Breast Cancer Foundation! There are multiple events this month in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness. Several local businesses and organizations are dedicating their time and efforts to raise awareness and funds for cancer research, treatments, and support of breast cancer patients. This issue of our newsletter will highlight those businesses and organizations who have chosen Solano Midnight Sun as a beneficiary of their fundraising events. We can't thank you enough!!
October 16 - 8th Annual Tickled Pink - Hampton Inn, 800 Mason Street, Vacaville
The 8th annual Tickled Pink fundraising event will be on Friday, October 16th beginning at 5:00pm. Save the date and your pennies for this fabulous fundraiser event to raise money for local cancer programs, including Solano Midnight Sun Foundation.
Raffle items will include a Scan and Cut, pink sewing chair, Stella pink lamp, an original handmade birdhouse, a Quilt Shop shopping spree, quilting goodies and much more. We are looking forward to an evening filled with denim and pink, diamonds and glitz, fun and games and lots of quilting!
October 17 - Dancing for the Pink, Hall Park, Suisun City
October 24 - 6th Annual Save the Big Twins Run by Iron Steed Harley-Davidson of Vacaville

Board members from Solano Midnight Sun will be available at each of the events listed above. We are grateful to each of the businesses and organizations that have chosen to help us in our mission to provide assistance and resources to men and women in our local community affected by breast cancer.

 Sign up NOW at the Recology office in Vacaville for the Pink Toters® program! Your Pink Toter® will be delivered just in time for Breast Cancer Awareness month in October. Contact Recology Recycling Manager at 707-448-2945 for more information.
100% of the proceeds will go to the Solano Midnight Sun Breast Cancer Foundation. This program raised over $21,000 in it’s first year!
