A High Energy Classic
Toilet paper, confetti, rubber gloves and playing cards
The Sherman Playhouse has thrown down the gauntlet for the month of October with the opening of its latest offering, The Rocky Horror Show. The opening weekend was met with standing ovations and screams of delight from loyal fans. Toilet paper, confetti, rubber gloves and playing cards streamed and decorated the audience as the cast rocked out to the familiar sounds of Time Warp, Sweet Transvestite, and Hot Patootie.
The lighting and staging fuel the actors in this ground breaking rock musical constantly fed by driving beats of its live band. Director Francis A. Daley has joined forces with music director Morgan Kelsey and choreographer Arthur Fredric to create a seamless, high energy classic that will be remembered for a very long time. Fred Rueck as Frank-n-furter is a tour de force surrounded by a cast of quality performers that sing and gyrate around him in perfect harmony to tell this tale of alien experimentation on our earth.
Sherman may never be the same.
