Apply for a 2016 Partners in Conservation grant!

Get the funding you need to launch your conservation project! Our annual grant cycle for the EMSWCD 2016 Partners in Conservation (PIC) grants is coming up. Applications will be due by 4pm on Tuesday, December 15th this year. Mark your calendars and prepare to plan ahead!

Application Details:
Visit our website to view the application guidelines and projects funded in 2015. The new PIC 2016 application forms will be available on October 15th!

What we fund:
The EMSWCD supports conservation and education projects that serve residents within the EMSWCD service area (all of Multnomah County east of the Willamette River). Funding ranges from $5,000 to $60,000 for PIC projects, or up to $100,000 per year for multi-year PIC Plus projects. All projects must address one or more of the following issues:

  • Soil Health
  • Water Conservation / Quality
  • Habitat Restoration
  • Watershed Health
  • Environmental Education

Important Note: If you plan to request a PIC grant of $30,000 or more, or if this will be your first time applying for a grant, be sure to contact Suzanne Easton, EMSWCD Grants Manager, to run your ideas by her, at suzanne@emswcd.org.
