Another amazing opportunity Senai has had is to serve with our Korean friends, the Moon family. They have planted a church in a township in nearby Franschhoek, South Africa. I was able to preach there, while our 5 girls led worship, and Janna helped with Sunday School and prayed with the women leaders. It was such an honor to serve as a family and support the meaningful work Christ is doing through this “house churchâ€. This township sits next to the village of Franschhoek, one of the wealthiest towns in South Africa. The contrast of poverty and wealth couldn’t be more stark. Alcohol is a huge problem in the community. We ask you to pray that people will be released from the bondage of alcohol and embrace the redeeming grace that God offers.
In three weeks, we will be connecting the church plant with Samaritan’s Feet SA and serving each of the members of this church by washing their feet and providing them with a new pair of shoes. This is what Senai is all about! It is an honor to “connect people to purpose†and amplify the vision and mission of the Moon's church plant.
