Sunday October 4, 2015....8am....Winter is on the Way!

Some new snow on the mountain this morning.  This is just any early reminder that the seasons are changing.  Our forecasts show several weeks of beautiful sunny and mild days coming up.  We'll take them!  Lots to do wrapping up our big summer projects.

Our rental shop and ticket office are open every pre-season Sunday from 10am to 5pm.  We have already issued over 300 season lease sets.  We still have hundreds of new technology skis with tip rocker, jib rocker and full rocker.  These new shapes are terrific and fun to ski,  don't miss the opportunity to try them this season !

As a BONUS we will be offering a FREE helmet lease with any lease ski set issued on our October Sundays (the 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th).  Maybe we'll see you today.

Anytime Now.......Submit your application for Fun Winter Work with our crew.  Lift Operators.  Ski and Snowboard Instructors.  Rental Techs.  Lodge Help.

October 25....Sunday....Great Divide Volunteer Ski Patrol presents Warren Miller Entertainment's   "Chasing Shadows".  7pm at The Civic Center.  Tickets $12 ( $4 goes to The Ski Patrol)....Tickets will soon be available at Great Divide, The Base Camp, Bob Wards, Capital Sports, Fou-0-Six, and The Garage.

October 26...Snowmaking starts.  Making snow anytime it is less than 30 degrees!

Late October or Early November....PocketPark event.

Saturday November 14.....Ski Lift Operator Orientation for anyone considering working as a lift operator this winter....9am at Great Divide.  kevin@skigd.com

Before Thanksgiving....We will try for our 11th consecutive year to be the first Montana ski area to open a chairlift for skiing!

Friday November 27....The 1st of our $10 Friday Nights Under the Lights with live music!
