STOP PRESS!

Dear Flow360 User,

We're very aware that we have only recently sent out our September Newsletter to you outlining the latest updates. Whilst we try very hard not to bombard our users with emails, a number of significant updates have been completed in the last 2 weeks which we felt were important to share with you so we hope you don't mind us being in touch after such a short period!

Please also remember to 'Like Us' on FaceBook and 'Follow Us' on Twitter, as we post interesting news and updates on these sites frequently.

We do hope you find the information in this newsletter useful.

The Flow360 Team
Surveyor Capabilities
There are additional controls for the management of surveyor capabilities. You can now selectively allow or disallow individual surveyors to add resources and add scheduled tasks and actions. This gives greater flexibility for those managing users with surveyor user accounts and allows individuals to be given restricted access to add objects relevant to them without allowing access to other functions.
Option to 'Sign' a Document
New ‘signed’ option on document records ensures that users in receipt of works orders or in charge of open issues have to confirm they have read attached documents before the issue or order can be progressed. This is a significant enhancement to the audit trail in relation to disseminating key information.
Primary Manager Setting
There is a new primary manager preference setting to allow all managers with full access to manage any open issue even if they are not directly assigned to it. This allows greater flexibility when required for team management of open issues.
Tasks focus
There is a new preference to allow you to restrict the tasks list by default to ‘inactive’ tasks only - this means that tasks already included on active works orders will NOT show by default, allowing you to focus on those tasks that have not yet been actioned.
Reload Active Issues
A new ‘reload active issues’ button on the Helpdesk list facilitates a quick reload of all open active issues without having to return to the main start screen. This is useful to refresh the list quickly to check for new issues.
Batch reset tasks
It is now possible to reset a whole batch of tasks with a status of ‘signed-off’ to ‘ready’. This speeds up resetting of status for repeating tasks which otherwise would have to be rest individually.
Team Notifications

Enhancements to team notifications - when issues are re-assigned to teams, the team will be notified by email if a team has a team email address. This is very useful when a team has shared access to an email account as they will all see the reassignment.
Linked Documents

Automatic updating of linked documents when the location of an open Helpdesk issue is changed. This is useful when an issue has been logged to the wrong location initially (it happens!) and the location is subsequently changed. If this happens, key documents for the new location are automatically attached and key documents for the old (incorrect) location are dropped from the docs list for that issue.
Help Topic Webinars - A Reminder!

During the autumn term we are planning a series of webinars to help you use Flow360 to its maximum potential in your organisation. This is a perfect time to join us and perhaps view some of the features you have not yet explored. You may also wish to ask other staff to join in as part of their CPD training.

In order to help us tailor these sessions better we would love to hear from you! Is there a topic you would like to see covered to help you with your day to day use? Or perhaps you'd like to book a specific webinar to train other members of your team.

If so, please do drop an email to James Betts by
clicking here - who will happily assist. We will then collate all the information and publish the dates and time in the next newsletter.
