ISC Calls for Student Volunteers
 Participating as a student volunteer at ISC High Performance is a great opportunity to learn about the most important developments in the HPC field. It is also a great way to make new contacts, particularly with your peers from other schools and countries, possible future employers, and HPC luminaries from around the world.
We are always glad to welcome undergraduate and graduate students help us run the conference.
Among other things, you’ll enjoy:
- Access to all conference, tutorial and workshop sessions
- Access to the exhibition
- Admission to special evening events
- Accommodations provided by the organizers

*Proposals for workshops that want to disseminate their own call for papers and implement the peer-review process should be submitted by December 1, 2015. Proposals for “regular” workshops without call for papers should be submitted by February 15, 2016.

PRACE ISC Award 2016
PRACE, the Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe, will award a prize to the best paper submitted to the ISC Research Paper Sessions in one of the following areas:
- a breakthrough in science achieved through high performance computing
- an algorithm or implementation that achieves a significant improvement in scalability or performance
- a novel approach to performance evaluation on a massively parallel architecture
The winner of the PRACE ISC Award will receive sponsorship for participation in a training event or a conference relevant to petascale computing, and will have the opportunity to give a keynote talk on their work during the ISC Research Papers Sessions.
Thus we encourage you to submit your paper!

ISC 2016 Student Cluster Competition Deadline is Nov 13
 There are less than three weeks left to apply for participation in the fifth ISC-HPCAC Student Cluster Competition to be held in Frankfurt next year. We look forward to welcoming 11 teams in 2016. The purpose of this competition is to introduce the next generation of students to the high performance computing community and its technology.
For submission details, please visit the HPCAC website. The notification of the successful teams will be made on November 18 at SC15 at the HPC Advisory Council booth #265.

ISC High Performance at SC15
 We will be exhibiting along with the TOP500 project at SC15 in Austin at booth 1923. We look forward to meeting our existing and future attendees. Please stop by if you are interested in talking with us or even just to spin our wheel of fortune for exciting prizes.
Our customer relations managers, Anna Schachoff and Josiah Tabor, will also be onsite to discuss your exhibition needs. The whole team looks forward to seeing you!
The 46th TOP500 list will be announced at SC15. The awarding ceremony plus the systems performance presentation by Erich Strohmaier will take place during the TOP500 BoF on November 17.
