Construction of Innovative Pavement in India Complete
Construction for the IC-IMPACTS Advanced Pavements Project was completed on October 6, 2015. The innovative pavement project takes place near Thondebavi Taluk, Karnataka (just outside Bangalore, India) where community members are desperately in need of better road infrastructure. The new pavement technologies utilize super-thin pavements and innovative materials to increase road lifespan by 15 years.
IC-IMPACTS Partners with the Village of Thorsby, Alberta
IC-IMPACTS is delighted to announce it has partnered with the Village of Thorsby for a new water-related research project. Located an hour south of Edmonton, Alberta, the Village of Thorsby is committed to serving its residents the highest quality of water possible and has partnered with IC-IMPACTS to help analyze the Village’s water distribution infrastructure.
IC-IMPACTS will be launching a new call for proposals for proposals focusing on demonstration projects very soon. The new call will be targeting projects that have completed their research phase and are ready to be tested in real-world environments. Stay tuned for more details.

2016 Summer Institute Date Set
Our 2016 Summer Institute will be held in Edmonton, Canada from May 28, 2016 to June 4, 2016. Next year's topic will cover Nanotechnology and it's uses in the infrastructure, water, and health industries.
Conference Abstract Submission Closing Soon
IC-IMPACTS is proud to be sponsoring BEFIB 2016, the 9th RILEM International Symposium on Fibre Reinforced Concrete. Abstracts can now be submitted to the conference website by no later than August 30, 2015.
