ARDILLA CLASS WEEKLY UPDATE
Dear Parents,
Now that we have mastered the letter M, our new letter of the week is N for NIÑO (boy). We will be able to identify, write and associate things that begin with the letter N. We also learned two new vocabulary words Abuela (grandmother) and Abuelo (grandather).
This weeks Math activity we learned about:
  • Mucho (more) and Poco (less). We rolled the die to see how many bears we had to hide under the caves. At the end of the game we counted to see which cave had Mucho bears and which had Poco.
  • The color Verde (green)
  • Number 12 / Forma: Cuadrado (square)
During our Physical Ed we learned a few techniques of Baloncesto (basketball). We raced to see who could put in the most baskets.
This week we talked about the mailman (cartero) and his job! We wrote letters to our mommies and daddies and the mailman collected our mail (correo). Ms. Mildred and Ms. Carrol wrote each child a sweet letter to show a form of Empatía (empathy) which is our emotion of the week. We strolled for a quick neighborhood walk to see how many mailboxes (buzónes) we could find. We even got to take a picture with the mailman and the mailtruck!!
HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK: Rai took Papelote home this past weekend and had so much fun playing dress up with him and his other teddy bear named "Chocolate". Thank you for sharing Rai!!
The vocabulary words of this week are:
Abuelo (grandfather)
Abuela (grandmother)

We hope you have a great weekend!

Señorita Carrol and Señorita Mildred
