The 2015 Comprehensive Plan Update includes revisions to the Town of Pittsford’s existing Comprehensive Plan, completed in 2009. This update is intended to account for changing conditions as well as past and future projected trends such as economic factors, demographic characteristics, development trends, infrastructure conditions, and land uses characteristics.

This update also focuses on special topics of interest to the community, including preservation of open space, access to parks and trails, as well as the potential impacts of future growth (local and regional) on the town’s transportation system and character.
