Chalice Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)



Plan to stay after worship this Sunday for a Hawaiian Potluck! If you signed up to bring food, bring it. If you didn't sign up, you're welcome to bring some any way. Leis and Hawaiian shirts are totally optional. 
It's Peanut Butter Sunday! Bring a jar, or two, or three for Chandler Christian Community Center's emergency food boxes. 
Chandler Christian Community Center's 3rd Annual Empty Bowls event is coming up on Tuesday, October 20th at Chandler Gilbert Community College. For $10, you receive lunch of bread and soup, and an empty bowl made by CGCC students. Stop by the Student Pavilion any time between 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. to support CCCC. 


We're happy to welcome long-term volunteers from Global Ministries to Chalice at 7 p.m. tonight. Doug Smith and Katie Moyer will be speaking about their work in Mexico on behalf the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). You're invited!

A Few Notes
  • To date this year we have received $26.80 from Phoenix Fibers (our recycle bins).  Keep bringing in paper, cardboard, etc.  It pays off!
  • Kids in grades 1-5 are invited to CCF Retreat at FCC in Scottsdale November 21-22.  If your kid is interested contact Rev. Abigail
