Greystone Mansion, also known as the Doheny Mansion, is a Tudor Revival mansion on a landscaped estate with distinctive formal English gardens, in Beverly Hills. Haunted house tours and a popular interactive play capitalize on the 1929 scandal in which the owner of the mansion, oil heir Ned Doheny, died in a mysterious murder-suicide with his boyhood friend and employee.

Halloween has come early, as Portland's Blue Star Donuts graces all of us with a treat, launching their (long awaited) Abbot Kinney store with a massive giveaway at 8 a.m. on Monday, October 19. The gourmet, brioche-based donut shop officially opens its doors on October 21, and I couldn’t be more excited to scarf down as many blueberry bourbon basils donuts as I possibly can.
