West Hatch High School open evening
Prospective West Hatch High School were able to tour the school and see its facilities at its annual Year 7 open evening.
The school opened its doors to current Year 6 pupils and their parents - and showcased just what is on offer for children who start at the High Road school next September.
Displays were put on across the various departments while there were also dance and drama performances.
Talks were given by headteacher Frances Howarth and Year 8 students Imogen Stephens and Arjun Kuhaendran who spoke about their first year at West Hatch.
Mrs Howarth said: "Tonight we have seen West Hatch at its best with over 300 students returning to act as guides and help with demonstations and displays in departmental areas.
"Our students feel very proud of their school and were very eager to talk all about the opportunities that West Hatch offers them to over 1,000 visitors who attended the evening.
"We had many wonderful comments from prospective parents who thoroughly enjoyed the event."
