Accounts Payable Invoice Requests for Payment
Approximately 2 years ago, Accounts Payable introduced the "Accounts Payable Invoice Payment Form" in TUmarketplace. This multi-purpose electronic form replaces your paper requests for:

  • Student refunds
  • Travel Advance
  • Upload invoice payments
  • Non-employee travel reimbursement
Starting December 1, 2015, Accounts Payable will no longer accept paper requests for payment, requiring all invoices and payment request be submitted through TUmarketplace "Accounts Payable Invoice Payment Form."

Utilizing this electronic form affords you several benefits:
  • Form Requisition Status
  • View invoice status
  • Payment status including check number and date when check has processed
  • Communication between you and Accounts Payable by way of comment emails
  • Document history always available through "Search" action

If you have any questions regarding the process, please contact an accounts payable staff member.

NSF New Grant Proposal Guidelines Released
Anyone who has applied for NSF funding knows that the Grant Proposal Guide (GPG) is a vital source for how to pull together the various components of a proposal. These guidelines tend to change yearly and thus, should be reviewed with each release. The
2016 NSF GPG is now available. We strongly encourage any NSF applicants to review these guidelines closely. The CLA Research staff will do the same as well so as to be able to offer guidance to our faculty members, postdocs and students when they are preparing to submit to NSF.

Temporary PI Form
The Grants Management Office (GMO) has requested that the Temporary Principal Investigator Status Request Form be completed when a graduate student or postdoctoral scholar will be named as PI or Co-PI on a research grant. The form can be completed and returned to Gina Barnes to obtain the college-level signature, after which time it will be returned to GMO. The form can be found
here.
