Read.Learn.Grow
One of the three foundations of being a learning rebel, is innate curiosity. I've written about the importance of curiosity in a couple of blog posts - here most specifically I make the statement -
As L&D professionals, we should be insanely, innately, ravenously curious about our industry.
Then ask the question: What are you reading now? What have you learned about “learning” lately? With whom are you having a robust conversation about learning?
You all are rebels. If you recall, when I did the check in survey the most desired topic you wanted covered was reviews - books, websites and tools. I can dig that. So much so, it got me thinking. Did the world need another "book club"? Well, not a traditional one - that's for sure. But the L&D world does need a group of rebellious readers. This I can get behind!
