AIC Constructor Certification Commission Call for Nominations
The Constructor Certification Commission is currently accepting nominations to fill one elected position on its Board of Governors to help lead the organization dedicated to developing and maintaining the AIC’s Associate Constructor and Certified Professional Constructor certification programs. The CCC is a semi-autonomous Board that operates independently from the normal AIC Committee Structure, allowing it to make independent decisions regarding the Constructor Certification program. Nominees must be a Certified Professional Constructor (CPC) in good standing, but not necessarily a member of the AIC.
There are many benefits to serving on the CCC Board of Governors, such as;
- Ability to shape the future of a nationally recognized construction certification program.
- Industry recognition by serving on a national Board of Governors.
- Collaborating with both industry and academic professionals with a shared interest.
- Ability to enhance both the value of AIC and Constructor Certification.
This position carries a 4 year term of office and includes a requirement to attend monthly teleconferences to discuss the on-going needs of the Commission. In addition, the Commission meets twice per year in person at the AIC Mid-Year Meeting each Fall and the AIC Annual Forum in the Spring. The new Governor will be installed at the Annual Forum in February 2016 in San Diego, CA.
