It's been a busy month in the automotive world!

There's exciting news from McLaren, a history lesson from Lamborghini and a step into the future with the Cambridge University Eco Racing team. Plus a bonus video...

McLaren 650S Can-Am

A round-up of all the latest carbon developments in the world of very-fast-cars.

It's a really interesting video and shows just how much detail and skill goes into making one of these.

Now all we need is someone willing to lend us £10,000 (we're guessing)... Anyone?
ULV Team's ARION1
Believe it or not... that's a bike!

A team of 16 Masters students from The University of Liverpool Velocipede (ULV) Team entered the ARION1 (pictured above) in the IHPVA World Human Power Speed Challenge back in September.

Racing at Battle Mountain, Nevada, they used carbon fibre and Scott Bader's Crestapol resin to improve aerodynamics and reduce weight.

The driver lies almost completely flat, feet forwards, encased in the carbon shell.

They managed to reach an impressive 75mph!
