Welcome to CoDA 2016!

Exploring Data-Focused Research across the Department of Energy

We hope you'll join us for the Conference on Data Analysis, highlighting data-driven problems of interest to the Department of Energy. Talks and posters at CoDA will feature research from the Department of Energy national laboratories, academia, and industry. Read on for updates, including upcoming deadlines and a publication opportunity for CoDA 2016 presenters.

DOE Lockout Date

The lockout date for CoDA is October 23, 2015. If you're a DOE employee or contractor, please get your travel request to your organization before this date.

Call for Posters

We invite you to present your data-focused work at the poster session of the third Conference on Data Analysis, CoDA 2016. The CoDA 2016 invited program explores six themes:
  • Really Expensive Data
  • Power Grid Data
  • Multisource Data
  • Cybersecurity
  • Subsurface Modeling
  • Data Analysis at Exascale
We welcome posters on these and other data-driven topics. Register for CoDA to submit your poster abstract by February 3, 2016.

Students: The American Statistical Association's Section on Statistics in Defense and National Security will sponsor a poster prize for full-time students.

CoDA Publication Opportunity

We're pleased to announce that the American Statistical Association data science journal Statistical Analysis and Data Mining will publish a peer reviewed special issue featuring work presented at CoDA 2016. All poster presenters and speakers are invited to submit a manuscript for consideration by June 13, 2016. More details will be available during and after the conference.
