On Wednesday, November 17th, the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities Center will continue its panel discussion series, "The New Orleans Media: A Series of Panel Discussions on the Fourth Estate in the City" with a discussion of the role of independent investigative journalism in New Orleans. The panel, "Figaro, The Vieux Carre Courier, and The Lens: Investigative Journalism Past & Present," will feature our own Steve Beatty and Karen Gadbois, along with Jeanette Hardy, former publisher of The Vieux Carre Courier, and moderator Jack Davis, former editor of Figaro.   Doors open at 6:45 and the panel begins at 7pm.
