Parsha of the Week:
Toldot: Genesis 25:19-28:9

Judaism of the Week: Torah Study

This week's parsha is related to the idea that when you rely solely on your intuition, you can get into trouble. Unlike some other religions, Judaism relies heavily on sources and experts rather than individualized Torah study. Judaism is not a Bible-based religion, but a Rabbinic one, and the more you learn the more you can make intelligent inferences when life throws questions at you.

Here are some great places to get some additional learning:

Parshat Toldot: Trust in G-d
Issac and Esau and the lesson of not relying on just your own inclinations.

This week's narrator is Y Love. If you haven't heard of him, he's a quite talented Jewish Rapper in the tradition of Matisyahu. View a video of his here.
