The Kernel!

October 9, 2015

Hello <<First Name>>:

In this weeks edition of The Kernel we will be focusing on military popcorn donations.  Please share as much as you can about this opportunity  with your Scouts.  With one week left in the sale this is a great way to energize  Scouts and families on selling more popcorn and supporting our military.

Scouts can boost their sales by asking family, friends and the community to purchase popcorn for our veterans’ organizations, military men and women, and military families so they can enjoy a taste of home wherever they may be.

Military popcorn sales are made at the $30 silver level or the $50 gold level and there is no limit to the number of purchases an individual or group can make.  An added bonus of this part of the sale is that you never have to handle the product.  It is sent directly to our military and their families.  The only thing being asked of the Scouts and their families is their time and effort.

Many of us have friends and family in the military that greatly appreciated and enjoyed getting popcorn sent to them while on active duty.  We highly encourage Scouts to participate in the military sale which will positively impact lives of those that serve the country we love, and the Scouting program.
