There is no question that it is more challenging for women than for men in any career of their choice. Often the way we perceive ourselves can be the biggest impediment to our shaping a successful and fulfilling career. The so-called ‘Imposter Syndrome’ (unfounded feelings of inadequacy) can especially impact the willingness and ability of women to seek out and embrace leadership opportunities.
In the Skirting Leadership MasterClass, Suzanne Mercier will provide practical tips to identify and eliminate the limitations that we, as women lawyers, often place on ourselves in our professional lives, whether consciously or unconsciously.
Suzanne Mercier is a performance catalyst with more than 25 years’ experience in marketing, advertising, business strategy, individual and business performance. Her experience spans a wide range of industries including professional services. As the first woman on the Board of George Patterson Advertising, Suzanne experienced the Imposter Syndrome first hand. She left the corporate world and started her own business helping individuals and organisations move beyond the Imposter Syndrome enabling them to recognise and live up to their potential.
