New Zone News                             November 2015

New Zone welcomes you back
to the Downtown Cultural District

Welcome back again, New Zone Fans!

I would like to thank all the New Zone members and community non-member artists who exhibited in the recent "Salon du Peuple" (Salon of the People) exhibition and all those who came out to enjoy it.

The opening reception was a huge success, and we had to start flipping gallery lights off and on to get people to leave at 10 pm.

I would also like to thank all of our patrons who bought a piece or two from the exhibition for making it our best sales month ever.

We have planned some big events to finish off the rest of the year.

Again, thanks for making The New Zone Gallery a happening place in the "Cultural District of Downtown".

The Cabinet of Steampunk Curiosities
Join us in the Klausmeier Room of the gallery for "The Cabinet of Steampunk Curiosities," a very popular yearly exhibition. This theme show will feature steampunk art  by members and non-members.

On the nights of November, Friday 20th and Saturday 21st, the main gallery will be transformed for our special ticketed event(s) with more steampunk art on display by local steampunk artists Steve La Riccia, Joe Mross and others, entertainment and refreshments that will include music by Faerabella and Mood Area 52, acrobatics, theater, steampunk movies, tasty treats, imported wine by Kastle Hill and local beer from Man Cave Brewery and so much more.

Tickets will be on sale at the New Zone Gallery for $10 in advance and $12 at the door the night(s) of the show.

You definitely don't want to miss this one.
