Science Docents
Nicole von Troth is leading our Science Docents this year and is ready to find Grade Level Leads as the program will begin later this month. Grade level leads will work with Nicole to prep for the labs and conduct them for their grade level. No science experience needed, just a love of working with kids and experimenting. Labs are already set up with easy to follow instructions and all the needed supplies. The commitment is 1 week of time, 3 times during the year. Art Docents
Welcome to the Art Docent Program! We thank you for volunteering. It's a fun way to get into the classroom with little commitment. The program runs November - May. If you are interested, please email Lauren Hyatt with your name and teacher's name. The training days for new (and returning) docents will be Thursday, October 29th & Friday, October 30th at 9:00 am in the Parent room (across from the Library). If you can't make it, we'll meet with you any time. The supply prep day is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3 at 9 am in the Parent room. If you can help out, it's greatly appreciated, and it's a great way for us all to get to know one another.
The art lessons are already planned and easy to follow. Very little prep is needed prior to each lesson. We look forward to hearing from you and working with you throughout the school year!
