On Thursday one of our families will finalize their adoption of a 17-year old girl. We are so proud of everyone involved- family building is hard work and these folks are in it for the long haul!
In her typical super creative and thoughtful way, Permanency Specialist Gail Swenson asked the rest of us here at the office to help with the finalization gift she is giving the family. Pictured above, Gail's masterpiece, a customized Jenga Game with the family's photos all over the box. More than half the pieces have been personalized with wishes from Ampersand Families' staff.

Ampersand Families is not a United Way agency.
However, as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Ampersand Families can receive donations through workplace United Way campaigns- if a donor designates us on their pledge card.
