It's been a very busy 2015 harvest and things will be wrapping up this week. Our harvest at Upper Bench was three weeks early due to the incredible summer and almost perfect fall.  The cooler autumn helped retain acid and flavour.  This vintage is going to be an EPIC one…we can't wait to share it with you.


 


It was another successful year for the Okanagan Fall Wine Festival this past week.

We are so excited to share December's Curds and Cork shipment with all our fantastic members.

Gavin has picked three very special wines:
  • New release 2014 Riesling 
  • Yet to be released 2013 Four Shadows Vineyard Merlot 
  • A very special co-fermented Bordeaux blend that we call Yard Wine 

Our cheesemaker Shana and her assistant Sarah have two special cheeses aging in the caves. One is a cracked pepper infused Gold and the other is a red wine infused King Cole.

Upper Bench is very excited to be giving the opportunity to showcase our award winning wine and cheese on November 17th in Vancouver.  This is a fundraising Gala for the Vancouver Community College.
