Sunday, November 22, Noon, Vaughan Fellowship Hall.
At our fall congregational meeting, we will preview the proposed budget for 2016 and hear a progress report on recruitment of congregational officers, as well as chairs and members of our committees and our seven Ministries.  Input on the budget should be sent to Carol Kepler of the Stewardship Ministry, at the Stewardship Information meeting on November 8, Noon, Vaughan Fellowship Hall, or by email. If you would like to volunteer your services on any committee or ministry, or recommend someone for a position, please contact Geri Bowen, Marty Lamb or Rev. Peg Williams.
Join Maria Mayorga, Pastor Peg, and many other CUCCers who will walk in the 35th Raleigh CROP Hunger Walk on Sunday, October 25, 2015, at Broughton High School, 723 St. Mary’s Street.  You may register with Maria, or go online to CROP Hunger Walk Raleigh or register the day of the race. Registration and activities begin at 3:00pm; walk begins at 4:00. Come out and walk and end hunger, one step at a time!
Have Your Say on CUCC's Budget, Sunday, November 8, Noon, in the Vaughan Fellowship Hall
This is  the time of year to be grateful - both for what we have received and for what we are able to give back to the community and the world.  If you wish to comment on any pressing items that need to be in the proposed 2016 budget, please contact Carol Kepler at carol6524@att.net or come to our Budget Committee meeting on Sunday, November 8th, at Noon, in the Vaughan Fellowship Hall, and let the Stewardship Ministry know of any specific suggestions you have for the budget.

Adult Sunday School Class
Sunday Mornings, 9:30am - 10:15am
Bradow Room
Led by Ellen Beidler and Bill Lamb

We are currently listening to a CD series, An Undivided Life, by Parker Palmer. You do not need to buy the book. We listen to 30 minutes from the series and then have 15 to 20 minutes of discussion. If you missed the first session or will have upcoming conflicts, this is the kind of study that has self contained lessons. You can easily drop in as your schedule permits. We expect this series will take about 10 weeks to complete.
