Denton VOTER November 2015

President's Podium by Sue Smith

First and foremost is Election Day, Tuesday, November 3. I am assuming everyone checked our local and/or state websites for the Voters Guide on the proposed constitutional amendments. Only one member responded to my email asking if they preferred receiving a copy by mail. Thanks to Maggie Dodd, Julie Leuzinger, Chris Marion, Rosemary Witmer, Judy Giese, Naomi Wood, Wes and Sue Smith for delivering VG throughout the county. Julie contacted area libraries with the link to the VG.

Please note the change of date for our November General Meeting to Thursday, November 19 at the Denton Senior Center on Bell Avenue. See the article below for details of the meeting and links to reference material ahead of the consensus study.

Save Thursday, December 10 for our general meeting which will include program planning at the local and state levels. Bring your ideas for study at both levels. Once again it will be at the Zelisko's at 3300 Belmont Street. More details in the next VOTER.

Upcoming Dates:
Tuesday Nov 3 - Election Day
Thursday Nov 19 7:00 PM - Denton Senior Center, General Meeting on Pay Day Lending
