sean reardon, endowed Professor of Poverty and Inequality in Education, will receive the 2015 Spencer Foundation Award from APPAM. The Spencer Foundation Award recognizes noteworthy contributions through research and analysis in the field of education policy and management.

Thomas S. Dee, faculty director of Stanford CEPA, will receive the 2015 Raymond Vernon Memorial Award from APPAM with our colleague James H. Wyckoff (University of Virginia) for their paper Incentives, Selection and Teacher Performance: Evidence from IMPACT.
Kenneth Shores, a doctoral candidate, has received a National Academy of Education/Spencer Dissertation Fellowship for 2015. Kenneth Shores is drawing on quantitative and qualitative research to offer a new way to think about the achievement gap.
