Using Mindfulness to Cultivate Happiness

According to Dr. Elise Bialylew there are four ways practicing Mindfulness can make you happier:

1. It can help you get out of negative thought loops

"The greatest weapon against stress is our ability to choose one thought over another". - William James

2. It can make you feel more connected to others

"The greatest gift you can give someone is your attention". - Jim Rohn

3. It can connect you to a sense of inner contentment

"Be content with what you have; rejoice in the way things are. When you realise there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you". - Lao Tzu

4. It can enhance your gratitude

"Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance" - Eckhart Tolle
