Tweens Worship Class

October's Class: "What I Believe"

Pastor  Charlie will be talking with the Tweens about our Creeds, and what it is we believe as Presbyterians in a way that engages them with age-appropriate subject matter and conversation! Bring questions on the Apostle's Creed.

Come out and join Pastor Charlie for our new Tweens Worship Class every 4th Sunday of the month.

We will meet in the Choir Room after the Children's Message in 2nd Service, and return to worship during the Offertory.
 

This Sunday in Sunday School we are also handing out parts for our Nov. 8th Creation Care Skit. Plan to attend Skit Practice on Sunday, Nov. 1st during Sunday School. We will present the skit during both worship services. Please let us know which service your child will be attending (or both!) on Nov. 8th.

Join us Friday for our annual Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat. Tweens, remember to bring your decorated pumpkins!
Come out for fun, games, & treats!

Tweens First Friday, Nov 6th 6pm - 8pm
WCPC Fellowship Hall

Clear your schedules the First Friday of each month starting in November!

WCPC Tweens 5-6th grades: Join us for our next First Friday Fun event, happening Friday, Nov. 6th from 6-8pm in the Fellowship Hall for a Neon Dance Party & Ice Cream Sunday Bar! Bring your dancing shoes, your favorite ice cream treats to share, and as always, this is a GREAT night of fellowship to bring you friends! Please RSVP on our website at http://www.wcpc-tx.org/rsvp-form/ Can’t wait to see you on Friday, Nov. 6th.
We always need more chaperones. Please check your schedule and come out to get the party started!

We have a brand new Tweens Ministry Team (TMT) who is passionately devoted, and committed to helping us get our new Tweens ministry off of the ground and we are excited to announce that Active Ruling Elder Chris Liddell has stepped in to act as Chair for our committee! Join me in welcoming RE Chris as he steps into lead our team!

This is the age where our kids start to get really busy in life, and their priorities begin to shift from church to busier lives.

Join our TMT TEAM! We need committed adults from all walks of life in our Church Family to help us plan, organize and carry out some AWESOME fellowship and faith-building events for these kids as we build up this program, & keep our kids involved in their own spiritual journey and development. 
All are welcome to lead & participate!

Tweens Sunday School
Current 5th & 6th Graders & bring your friends!

Engage preteens in God’s big story through videos, Bible exploration, and hands-on projects.
Connect is a Bible-centered curriculum, with just enough humor to get fifth and sixth graders hooked. Using quirky videos, hands-on activities, and Bible exploration, Connect helps preteens uncover major Biblical themes and discover how the Bible relates to their own lives.
Connect takes tweens on a journey through the Old Testament and into the New Testament, exploring the connections between several stories each week.
 
Join us Sundays for our Tweens Specific Sunday School class! Each week, the group will meet with the Tweens teachers for our Connect! study.

There will be an outing each 3rd Sunday of the month, and the leaders will walk with the kids to the Panther Creek shopping center for brunch and fellowship. The first off-campus fellowship is coming up on Oct. 18th. Please send the kids with brunch money, or contact Pastor Charlie for scholarships that are always available!

We are looking forward to having your child in Sunday School this year.
