Class Photos

Class photos are now ready for ordering. Proofs are in the classrooms. Two versions are available: mat finish on high-quality photo paper for $12 each (as displayed in the rooms) or laminated for $15 each. Please place your payment in a sealed envelope with the name/s of pupil/s ordering and the number of copies of each photo required written on the outside, and hand these to class teachers by Friday 30 October.

The next school assembly has been moved to this Wednesday 28 October at 9:00 am. As always, parents are welcome.

The Surf Education field trip is now scheduled for 20 November.

Monday is a Holiday

School is closed Monday 26 October for the national Labour Day holiday.

Welcome Mr Hall

Mr Hall, our new Development Manager, has now begun working in the school. We look forward to his contribution in shaping the future of Carey College.

Uniforms for 2016

It takes time after an order is placed, especially at the start of a year, for uniforms to have the badge embroidered on them. That means orders for uniforms will need to be placed no later than 20 November to ensure children have their uniforms for the start of the year.

Driveway Safety Campaign

Check Me Before You Turn the Key!
You may have seen TV adverts for this campaign. Every year New Zealand drivers kill 5 of our under twos and send more than 20 of them into hospital by running over them in our driveways. We will be sending all families a special key-ring to help remind drivers to "Check before they turn ..."
