A new seed is planted...
In the attempt to make NDEx a truly unique platform capable of serving the needs of our dynamic scientific community, we think that a heterogeneous and interdisciplinary approach is absolutely necessary.

To mark the beginning of a new collaboration with the Jaiswal Lab at Oregon State University (OSU), the NDEx public server now hosts the Database of Public Plant Networks: 2 metabolic networks from the Jaiswal Lab (MaizeCyc and RiceCyc) are already available in BioPAX3 format together with a protein sub-cellular localization network in A. taliana, kindly provided by the Ideker Lab at UC San Diego. More plant networks will follow, including those belonging to the Plant Reactome, RiceNet and more...
  • Do you work with plants?
  • Would you like your networks included in the Database of Public Plant networks?
  • Want to recommend networks to include in the Database of Public Plant Networks?
  • All of the above?
Contact us and we will gladly work with you to make it happen! After all, isn't science all about communication and collaboration?
The International Mouse Phenotyping Consortium (IMPC)
The IMPC is building the first truly comprehensive, functional catalog of a mammalian genome. The goal of the IMPC is to discover functional insight for every gene by generating and systematically phenotyping 20,000 knockout mouse strains.

The IMPC is currently composed by 5 national funders and 18 research institutions spread throughout North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. Visit the IMPC Website for additional information or to search their mouse phenotype database.
