ZaCSA's Holiday Parade of Homes Multiple residents of Camp Zama in Eagles Nest and Almost Heaven housing areas have graciously opened their homes to this Holiday Parade of Homes. Seven homes are featured on this tour. All proceeds benefit ZaCSA's Community Grants and Scholarship program.
Event patrons will begin the evening at East Meets West Gift Shop, Building 375 at 6:30pm for a social gathering with refreshments. Live music will be provided by the ZAMS Choir and Band. Patrons will be given a schedule/map and assigned a docent at this time. Patrons will also receive a complimentary keepsake. Patrons will leave for the tour at 7:00pm. After the tour, patrons can return to East Meets West for more refreshments and make purchases. Please note, East Meets West will close at 9pm.

COMPETITION RULES
Deadline: November 17th. Drop of your entry at East Meets West Gift Shop, Building 375 on any Tuesday or Thursday through Nov. 17th.
Enter your original short story inspired by a Japanese place, creature, or experience. 500 – 2,000 words. Pages should be numbered with story name only. Your story must be an original and complete story. Not fan-fiction (an original retelling of a common Japanese folktale is acceptable but a new episode of an anime or using copyright protected characters such as Pokemon is not). Story may be handwritten or typed but must be legible. Electronic submissions will not be accepted. Co-writing is accepted but all writers must be credited and share in the glory. No entry fee. No purchase required. Open to all ages.
Winners will be announced November 19th in the following categories: 1) Most creative, 2) Best overall, 3) Judges choice.

ZaCSA contributes funds to organizations and individuals to provide services and programs to the Camp Zama Community. The ZaCSA Community Grants Application Period is now open for the 2015-2016 year. Check the website for deadlines.
