WHO: DCYF, the Our Children, Our Families Council & the Office of Early Care & Education
WHAT: District 10 Community Input Meeting
WHEN: Monday, November 16 th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm
WHERE: Southeast Community Facility, 1800 Oakdale
CONTACT:/NOTES: DCYF, the Our Children, Our Families Council, and the Office of Early Care & Education will hold Community Input Meetings in every San Francisco district in November and December in order to learn what the City and the school district can do to better support families and children. Community members of all types are invited to the meetings, and are welcome to attend meetings in their own district and elsewhere. *Food, childcare, and interpretation services in Spanish and Chinese will be offered at every meeting. If you require interpretation services in a language other than Spanish or Chinese, please email Emily Davis - Emily.Davis@dcyf.org - at least 48 hours prior to the meeting(s) you would like to attend. WHAT: Black @Facebook Leadership Team Panel Discussion and Presentation: Careers in Tech
WHEN: November 13 th from 5:00pm – 7:00pm
WHERE: African American Art & Culture Complex, 762 Fulton Street
CONTACT: /NOTES: K-12 students and their parents are invited to join the Facebook Black@ Leadership Team for a Panel Discussion on Careers in Tech.
There will also be presentation on TechPrep...a Facebook-led initiative created for parents, guardians and learners who want to understand more about computer science (CS) and programming.
