Pulling out the wetsuits.
The temperature is cooling down, it's time for our winter training routines.
As the summer wound down the fall ramped up with events happening coast to coast. The 2015 Nationals at Cabrillo Beach was the perfect goodbye to a great summer of competition. The action didn't stop though, instead it packed up and hauled to the opposite corner of the nation for the East Coast Windsurfing Festival in Massachusetts and the Sandy Hook Fun Fest in New Jersey! Between all of these events our Olympic athletes have been quietly working their arms off! They just finished racing in Oman and are setting their sights on Rio. These quiet sailors deserve our support and we've pushed them into the spotlight so you can get to know them better. We've seen some top tier racing, freestyle, and event organization in the past few months. Be sure to check out some of our behind the scenes reports on these events and make sure to cheer on our Olympic hopefuls if you see them training on or off the water!
2016 US Windsurfing National Championships!
Mark your calendars for May 11 - 14, 2016! Oleander Point in Corpus Christi, TX will play host to the Nationals next year and we want to see you there! From top professionals to first time racers and freestylers, all are welcome. Even if you're not into racing, come hang out and cheer on your local favorites and juniors!

Divsion Results
Nationals was a blast! Some really heavy wind challenged everyone on the race courses and in the freestyle heats. Every day saw competitors grinning from ear to ear even as they could barely carry their gear up the beach. The seals were barking as racers passed their buoy while avoiding the kelp beds. Olympic Hopefuls
With Rio on the horizon our RS:X representatives are stepping up their training regimes. Many of these athletes are supporting themselves in their quest for Olympic glory and are even taking a year off from their normal lives in the hopes of racing for the USA next summer. RS:X is a tough fleet to be in and these guys and girls are training hard, often without coaches. We managed to catch them long enough to answer a few questions and get to know them a bit better.
