Dearest Parliament Volunteer:
On behalf of the trustees and staff of the Parliament of the World’s Religions, we’d like to express our deepest gratitude for your contribution to the Parliament 2015 event in Salt Lake City. Because of your unending commitment, and your personal offering of kindness, sacrifice and perseverance, you helped make the Parliament a huge success for all who attended!
We now know that over 34,500 people followed the proceedings via live streaming and the responses by the majority of our 9,806 attendees has been overwhelmingly positive. Additionally, coverage by the media far exceeded our expectations!
Please know that this event could not have been such a success without you, individually, and as a team. 1,000 volunteers filled over 3,000 volunteer shift slots, totaling over 18,000 hours of services! Dressed in your green shirts, equipped with the app and map of the Salt Palace, offering to be ‘out there’ and available, and ready to be of service was a comfort to the attendees, and the backbone of the event.
Please join us for a thanks to all get together on Monday, November 16 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Westminster on the Draw.
The Parliament also hopes you'll continue to engage with us on our journey to a new city in 2017. You've set a high standard for any future host.
